Overview
The White Dove Schools is a day and boarding institution in Sangotedo, Lekki, founded in 2004. Pre-School, Primary, and College — three divisions, students from age 2 to 18. TaylorField built their WordPress website: division pages, online admission registration, alumni sign-up, and a full view of the school’s club activities.
The Challenge
The previous site wasn’t doing the job. For a school with boarding facilities drawing students from across Nigeria, the website is what most prospective parents look at before they call. It needed to show what the school offers, make it easy to start an application online, and give staff a way to communicate with parents and alumni without doing it all manually.
Our Solution
We structured the site around what a parent needs to find quickly: which divisions the school runs, what happens outside the classroom, and how to apply. Each division has its own section. The club activities — foreign languages, Mandarin, music, dance, ballet, arts, sports, chess, science — are listed properly, not buried. Online admission registration is built into the site. Alumni can sign up directly. The newsletter subscription handles parent communication without anyone on the school’s staff needing to manage a mailing list by hand.
